Love by the Book

Love by the Book

After reading The Things We Wish Were True, I knew that I needed to start reading again. I didn’t have the luxury of being completely shut off from the world, so I needed an easy read. What is easier to read than love stories? Nothing, that’s what.

Props to Camille for posting this book on her social media.

This was an extremely easy read. I would recommend it to anyone who needs a quick pick up & put down. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone looking for a story that is going to move them or people who like historical fiction (me) or anyone that I actually respect as a reader. I am writing this more than six months after I read it so I don’t have much of the details that I once did.

Long story short, the main character decides to start a personal experiment where she gets a dating guide book and follows it - groundbreaking! She was American but living in London and it briefly touches on her family and her work (she works at a science museum). As you can see, it didn’t have much of an affect on me and therefore this is the extent of my detail portion of the review.

This was an extremely wordy way of saying that it’s not a good book but helped me start reading the books that I actually enjoy reading again and so it deserves some recognition.
